Several workers form Tesler’s engineering and software departments have been laid off as the company kept downsizing the past four weeks.

Some former employees of the automobile manufacturing company disclosed on LinkedIn that over the weekend and yesterday they were served with layoff notices.

According to Business Insider, not less than seven employees have posted about being laid off.

The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk disclosed on X that the company reorganizes every five years.

The Verge reported that ‘’The lay offs first started last month, when Tesla began laying off what was said to be at the time 10 percent of the company’s global workforce of 140,000 people. The lay offs included Tesla’s head of EV charging, Rebecca Tinucci, as well as her entire 500-person team. Tesla’s head of the new vehicles program, Daniel Ho, was also let go.’’

Bloomberg also reported that Elon Musk expressed a desire privately to lay off at least 20 percent of it’s workforce due to the decline in the automobile quarterly deliveries.
