Google Veterans Network (VetNet) has announced it’s 4th yearly Google VetNet Career Week.
The virtual event which is built to commence on June 11 will span through June 13, featuring, career support, tools and necessary advice exclusively for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses/partners.
According to a statement on its website, the 2024 Google career week will also allow access for people in the US who are displaced as a result of the conflicts in Afghanistan and Ukraine “We are also offering access to this event to US newcomers displaced by the conflicts in Afghanistan and Ukraine”.
The report on the website added “Wednesday, June 12, there will be an Executive Fireside Chat with Tara Walpert Levy, VP of YouTube Americas BizOrg & Roger Goodell, Commissioner of the National Football League”.
The event will feature a panel giving a summary of specific job functions and industries in today’s organisational setting, free skill building sessions, chats and a one on one personal resume review with a Googler.
