A more affordable version of Apple Vision Pro is expected to launch in 2025 due to the predicted fall in its demand by 75%.
Priced at $3,500, the device has suffered challenges in terms of sales in the United States. It is no surprise that the sales has not gone beyond 100,000 unites in any quarter since its release due to poor user content and high price leading to several negative reviews of the device.
The Vice President (VP) of the International Data Corporation (IDC) Francisco Jeronimo stressed the importance of valuable content for the successful sales of the product. Blue Tech Wave reports quoted the IDC VP saying ‘’The success of the Vision Pro, regardless of its price, will ultimately depend on the content available, As Apple expands the product to international markets, its critical that the local content is made available.’’
The report added that, besides the burdensome weight, a lack of compelling content is the reason several users and ardent supporters of the device have returned their headsets.
The tech company intends to go international with the product, launch a low budget model of Apple Vision Pro next year to increase sales and regain the trust of consumers.
